Twitter Media Launches with Resources for Tweet Ads

Announced early during April 2010, Twitter has planned to roll out Twitter Sponsored Ads. This means users can pay to have their tweets sent in as many Twitter streams as they are willing to pay for. It’s an interesting business model and revenue stream for the network, but how will it stick?

The news has been everywhere (all over Mashable) and has spread far and wide, throughout the web. I haven’t heard of any companies utilizing the ads yet or what sort of CTR there is, but Twitter has launched a media blog discussing topics and categories related to ads.

Make Money with Short URL Service adf.ly

With web URL shortening services in high demand these days, it’s no wonder adf.ly hadn’t come around sooner. Allowing you the same benefits of other free short URL services, adf.ly allows one big benefit – each pageview you get counts towards a small percentage of CPM costs for advertisers! The pair are planning on working to send out e-mails targeted to specific users based on their interests, in return for (what I would assume) as some capital for the Mixx team to continue their work.

One thing that sets StumbleUpon apart from the others is its unique advertising. You can pay $0.05/visitor which StumbleUpon sends your way, and you can do this for any page or article on your site. This adds up after a while – $5.00 for 100 visitors, $50 for 1,000.
