All good social media resources will run plenty of accounts through many social networking websites. This allows for a much larger readerbase, as fans can find out about your site through many different means. Well today Inside the Webb finally has a Facebook Fan Page!

We have been running a Twitter @insidethewebb and a Google Buzz profile for a few months now. Since then we’ve seen a huge surge in traffic – not just from people checking out the site through our social profiles, but also checking out our latest articles shared through these resources.

Version 3.0 of Inside the Webb has finally launched live. Since our last design update in December I’ve been busy at work contemplating how I could take Inside the Webb to the next level. Well it hit me about a week ago, and since then I’ve been tweaking the latest and greatest design launch!

I’ve tried to go with a more simpler look, basing us more on the scale for social news. Reporting on all the hot topics of web 2.0 and social media, We encourage all site launchers and developers to contact us with your websites!

Yep, I finally decided to add some of those updates I had planned on rolling out so long ago! I’ve been meaning to add author info to the posts on Inside the Webb for a while, just haven’t had time. Well I finally found some time, and I’m glad I did!

I really like the box style and how neatly they fit right after posts. It only took about 15-20 minutes messing around with Wordpress theme files and CSS styles to get it looking how it does now. Even though I am the only author on board now, in the future I plan on running with many different writers. This gives them a chance to really express what they’re about, and give the reader an in-depth look.

Either way this was an update long overdue. I’m hoping to roll out a few secret updates in the near future, as this is just one of many to come! I hope you all like it, and share your ideas with me about what you’d like to see in Inside the Webb.

So yes, there haven’t been many updates here at Inside the Webb in the past few months. However, we’re starting a whole new batch of great interviews, reviews, and demos of the latest and greatest web 2.0 apps across the internet! We’ve launched with a brand new design and look, and we’re back to claim all web 2.0.
